Russia's antitrust regulator (FAS) said Friday it has given the go-ahead to the USD-7.4-billion (EUR5.5bn) takeover of US server and storage product maker Sun Microsystems by business software provider Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) conditional on the latter's commitment to continue to develop Sun's MySQL database.
